What Is UgleeFeet All About?

First of all, let’s get it straight. Despite the name, UgleeFeet.com is probably NOT what you think.

How our feet look – Or how we think they look – can be key to how we feel about ourselves. UgleeFeet.com provides information and support for anyone who suffers from hating their feet.

When it comes to our physical image, we all have things we would like to change. Some of us think our hair is too thin, or we weigh too much or don’t like our freckles or our ski

Having a phobia about your feet is a real thing. If you are ashamed by your feet or toes, don’t want to show them in public, on the beach, or wear summer dresses because your feet are then front and center, you know what we’re talking about! Avoid social occasions because you can’t find shoes to cover up your bunions? Yep. Never dreamed of going to get a pedicure because you’re too embarrassed? Yep. Some people even suffer from a fear of feet – podophobia. (Yes, really.) No matter how ugly you think your feet are, it’s important to remember that everyone has something different, unique, unusual, unattractive, or troubling about their feet. Or think they do.

Unfortunately, foot shaming is a real thing. There are websites, blogs, social media sites and even tv shows that make a lot of money out of shaming people about their feet, particularly celebrities. We don’t do that here. We do, however, highlight celebrities who are straight-up ok with their feet, ugly or not.

Just like with your wardrobe, there are certain types and styles of shoes that can make you feel more comfortable in public, And that don’t look like your grandmother’s orthopedic shoes. There are tons of products on the market to help remove calluses, soften skin, remove or minimize corns etc. There are even products that are like concealers for your feet! Discoloration from where your shoes rub? Yes, it can disguise that. Super heavy veins and your feet that make everything look blue? Yes it can help that too. Can the type of toenail polish you choose take attention away from your (you think) funky toes? There are all types of ways to minimize perceived imperfections.
